The Florida Yacht Club in Jacksonville, Florida has been in existence since 1876, and the purpose of the club was primarily to promote yachting, coupled with social enjoyment and entertainment. Florida Yacht Club has so much to offer its members, from leisurely cruises, to fine dining, swimming and tennis, there is something for everyone. Over the years membership has grown dramatically, and extensions to the clubhouse include elegant dining rooms, extensive kitchen facilities, over 1000 feet of docks and slips. There are now clay tennis courts, a remodeled health club and a swimming pool. The Florida Yacht Club also hosts weddings, numerous annual regattas and social events. The Pirates Den Bar is a great venue for meeting friends for weekend or after work drinks, either inside or on the porch where you can take in the spectacular views as you social with your friends.

Cuisine Scene located in the Florida Yacht Club in Jacksonville, Florida, has come up with some new and exciting concepts in their kitchen which is sure to delight visitors to the restaurant. We have introduced an Ortega Sunday brunch with a brand new menu featuring made to order items such as smoked salmon, eggs benedict and the ever popular blueberry pancakes, to mention just a few. We are also introducing the new Chef's fresh market daily specials of approximately 12 additional items to our existing menu, and our dishes are divided into 3 categories, such as almost raw, barely touched and lightly cooked, ensuring that there is something for every palete. There is also a wine club at Cuisine Scene, and our fun classes are conducted in a relaxed and non-threatening atmosphere, as you get to taste several expensive wines and also learn how to shop effectively for wine bargains.
