H. Lee White Marine Museum The H. Lee White Marine Museum in Oswego is proud of its centrepiece, the US tugboat, which is the National Historic Landmark veteran of the WWII Normandy. Having been built in 1943, this tugboat has been lovingly restored, and visitors to the museum are permitted to board the LT5 between May and September, and view the original fittings and also get to walk through the crew quarters, galley and engine room. Visitors are also able to examine the complex system of winches, pulleys and control levers, including the entire original steam boiler engine.
